Some evenings cannot simply be uploaded to the cloud – they have to be experienced. Our Christmas event in 2025 falls squarely into this category.

An evening without team meetings, but with lots of cheese

On December 2, 2025, we at OriginStamp did what often gets neglected in everyday life: we sat together, ate well, laughed and looked back on the past few months. No roadmap, no sprints, no meetings – just people, conversations and fondue that definitely didn't come from the standard documentation.

Even before the evening officially began, it was clear that this would be teamwork on a different level. In the kitchen, people chopped, stirred, seasoned and discussed – especially what the perfect fondue should taste like. While some processed mountains of cheese, others lovingly set the tables, polished the glasses and created the right atmosphere.

When the fondue finally arrived on the table and the aroma filled the room, it quickly became clear that this was not about an event programme, but about spending time together. Bread disappeared into the cheese, forks were temporarily lost, and every now and then someone was caught producing a suspiciously large string of cheese.

In between all this, stories were told that rarely have a place in everyday office life. And then there was the tiramisu. Homemade, of course. By the first spoonful at the latest, the point had been reached where no one could claim to be only ‘moderately good at making desserts’. The evening thus had a sweet climax that perfectly matched the relaxed atmosphere.

Games, laughter and ‘just one more round’

After dinner, the evening was far from over. Games ensured that a cosy get-together turned into a really lively gathering. A harmless ‘let's play something for a bit’ quickly turned into ‘okay, but really just one more round’, which was then repeated several times.

In between, there was discussion, laughter, a bit of swearing (in good fun, of course) and, above all, a lot of improvisation. That's when we realised how well we work as a team – even away from code, outreach and customer projects.

What really made this evening special

For us, a Christmas event like this is more than just a way to end the year with good food. It shows in a nutshell what makes OriginStamp special: the people. This mix of professionalism in everyday work and genuine camaraderie after hours is one of the reasons why an evening like this feels both natural and special at the same time.
